Right so I’m going to sound sort of clueless here but it’s honestly because I genuinely am when it comes to car stuff.
Long story short I took my car in for a service last week and the mechanic told me two of my tyres need replacing, fairly soon. Nothing urgent he said but within the next month or so. I just nodded along like I knew what I was doing and then came home and started googling.
I came across Mobile Tyre Fitting Cardiff and it sounded ideal, because the honest truth is I find garages a bit intimidating. I never really know what I am looking at and I always feel like I’m about to agree to something I do not actually need. At least if someone comes to my house I feel a little more comfortable asking questions without feeling pushed or rushed.
But I don’t even know if this is a proper thing or one of those services that sounds better than it actually is. Like, are the people who do it properly trained or is it just someone with a van and a jack?
Also my partner is asking whether the tyres they carry are name brands or the cheaper ones nobody has heard of. She’s way more clued up on this than me and that was her first question when I mentioned it.
Has anyone in Newport actually had a mobile tyre fitter out to them recently. Would really love to know how it all went from start to finish, even the small details would help, because I really do not know what I’m walking into here.
