Hello, folks, I am a little at a cross-purposes. My Galaxy S24 Ultra has been problematic in the recent past where the charging port is loose and the battery is burning itself since the last android update. I have contacted some of the local stores but half of them are very sketchy and the other half asks me to leave my phone to them and provide them with my passcode.
The news of data privacy has been all over the place recently so I simply cannot afford to send my PIN. Devicefixes: Has anybody used devicefixes? I noticed that they have a special section where they are doing Phone repair with a message of no passcode and doorstep. That would be much safer than placing my machine in a trash at the shopping center. Is it their tech right in front of your eyes or a mail-in thing? It would be nice to get some actual experiences before I make the reservation.
