Our city still runs on paper forms and spreadsheets for everything from permit tracking to payroll to resident complaints. We finally have some budget to modernize and are looking for software solutions for local government that are actually affordable and easy for our staff to learn. Has anyone found software solutions for local government that made a real difference in how your city or county operates? We need things like permitting, licensing, work order management, or citizen request tracking. What worked well for you, and what was a waste of money?
